The reason why I’m doing this is just to document my progress, and maybe help someone else to achieve body peace. I promise to never post any nudity or swimsuit pictures or anything like that: just me in my regular clothes as I try to slim down.
I’ll update pictures bi-weekly, with a tally of how much weight I’ve lost and what weight I am now.
Some background first: currently I’m 5’3 and 193 lbs. I started my weight loss about a year ago (January 2012) with a local bootcamp by the name of ‘Lake County Boot Camps’, and I loved it there. Everyone was so encouraging, it helped me loose a whopping 40 lbs! Which is amazing, and WAY more than I was expecting to loose. They really are miracle workers, my friends, so if you’re in the Lake County (IL) area, look them up. And then I started my freshman year of college. In the first couple of weeks I lost close to 10 lbs. And since then, I’ve lost another 7. My goal at the start of the school-year was to be 180 by Christmas, but we’ll see how much I can loose safely in the next couple months (eccspecially with the holidays coming up). Setting small goals really works for me, so 190 by my Thanksgiving break (Nov 16) is the next step. So, week one blogging stats:
